Contract Extended Through Aug. 31, 2020

Below is the text for the agreement:

Memorandum of Understanding between
The Metropolitan Museum of Art and
Local 1503, District Council 37, AFSCME, AFL-CIO

It is hereby agreed by and between the patties that: the collective bargaining agreement entered into by the parties on July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2020 shall continue in full force and effect until August 31, 2020, unless a successor agreement is reached between the parties.

Signed July 28, 2020

In all likelihood, extensions will be granted on a monthly basis until both parties are able to begin negotiations.
