Documents Relating to the Memorandum of Understanding During the COVID-19 Pandemic Emergency—Dated July 14, 2020
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
After a month of discussions, the Museum and Local 1503 have arrived at a mutual understanding regarding benefits, working conditions and manpower. Additionally, details have been agreed upon for those members that chose to take part in the Voluntary Retirement Program (VRP). It was a collaborative effort between you Local’s officials and the Museum and some tough decisions had to be made. In the end, I can say that our position remained firm throughout these discussions and we believe that the agreement is fair.
