DC-37 Local 1503 endorses Met Workers 4 Palestine’s open letter addressed to museum CEO and Director Max Hollein. The letter, signed by over 200 workers at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, expresses intense concern regarding the destruction of life, art, and cultural heritage sites in Gaza. Workers of Local 1503 demand that museum leadership take a stand in defense of Palestinians and the cultural heritage of Palestine.   This letter was initiated, authored and organizing by union and union-eligible Met workers.
