How? You will be given a window in which to submit your preferences. You will be asked to rank your preferred shifts using an electronic form. You do not need to log-on to the Met network to access the form. You can access the link on any computer or smartphone. The HR team will assign each officer their highest ranked available shift by order of seniority in title.

Shortly following the close of your round, HR will contact you with your new shift. All new shifts will be posted outside of the Manpower office. We expect the new start date of these shifts to be on or about August 29th.

What if I am away/ will not be at work during my round?

If you are not onsite, please ensure you check your email at the start of your designated round for the link to participate. You can access the link on any computer or smartphone.

What if I need help filling out the form?

We will be holding Office Hours in the HR conference room for each round.  No appointment is necessary. You will be provided with the date(s) and time(s) of Office Hours at the onset of your round.

If you are having issues accessing the form/link, please email HumanResources@metmuseum.org before the close of your round.

What happens if I miss my round?

If you do not provide your selections by the close of your assigned round, you will be required to participate in the next open round.  If you miss all rounds, you will be automatically assigned to a shift.
