Any employee who works 1 hour and 30 minutes beyond their regularly scheduled shift will receive an extra hour at the overtime rate.
This also applies to hours worked before and after one’s shift. After the initial Supper hour, the Supper hour occurs every 4 hours.
What about an Employee’s Day OFF?
Any employee who works 1 hour and 30 minutes beyond the regularly scheduled shift will receive an extra hour at the overtime rate.
This would apply to hours worked before and after one’s shift. If the employee only works the scheduled time, they will not get a supper hour.
* ** If the employee’s department does not have regular schedule shifts on that day, Supper Hour does not apply, employees will get overtime at the appropriate rate.
Departmental Technician do not get Supper Hours on their days off because there are no regular schedule shifts on Saturday and Sunday.
The exception to this is when a Departmental technician works Friday until Saturday. *** *
