Ozzie’s Retirement Send-Off

A stalwart member and official of Local 1503 moves on…

After 39 years at the Met, Oswald Forney has decided to retire. Many of us know him as the go-to guy for all things union. Ozzie has always been there for many members—answering questions and navigating the sometimes complex relationship with management.

Ozzie was well loved by all of us at Local 1503, and his good nature set a fine example of professionalism and kindness for new members as well as those of us who had the pleasure of working beside him over the years.

Ozzie will be missed and we all wish him the best of luck and health in the years to come.
