METworkr/NETworkr ANNEX-hibition

Special Officer Lyndon McCray curated an exhibition titled The METworkr/NETworkr ANNEX at the 201@105 Gallery. The exhibition featured workers from the MET and was on display from November 15 to December 1.

The METworkr/NETworkr ANNEX-hibition features artwork by “real artists with real jobs.” This exhibition showcases a diverse array of drawings, paintings, crayon fumage, collages, graphic design, stained glass decor, fiber arts, sculpture, and photography. All pieces are created by current, former, and retired employees of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, whose creative practices are as varied as their roles at the museum, including art handlers, technicians, and security guards.
