** 2024 Local 1503 Elections Update**
A run-off election happens when no candidate gets more than 50% of the votes. The AFSCME International Constitution says that a candidate needs this majority to win. If no candidate reaches this requirement, the top two candidates will face each other in a run-off election. This process makes sure that the winning candidate has majority support from voters.

Nominees with ***stars*** next to their names will be part of the run-off election in December.
Voting will be by secret ballot:
It will be Monday, December 2, Tuesday, December 3, Thursday, December 5, and Friday, December 6. Time: 7:30 am to 10:00 am and 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm for all listed days, but Friday, December 6, is from 7:30 am to 10:00 am only, vote counting will follow immediately after.
Location: Outside the locker room at the Main Building and in the breakroom at the Cloisters.
The vote count will be performed on Friday, December 6 and results will be posted on the Local bulletin boards, the digital monitors, and the Facebook group.
