Nanette Villanueva,19th Annual Small Works Show

Senior Security Officer Nanette Villanueva and her son were selected for a national, juried exhibition at 440 Gallery.  

The exhibition, titled The 19th Annual Small Works Show at 440 Gallery, celebrates the innovation of artists who create work on a small scale in a broad range of media and styles.

Creativity and innovation vie for space at 440 Gallery during the 19th Annual Small Works Show, a winter favorite of gallery followers and art collectors alike. Grace R. Freedman, Ph.D., juror for this show, thoughtfully curated a collection of 83 works chosen from over 575 artists who submitted pieces as part of a national call for art this fall. Measuring no more than 12 inches in all dimensions, each artwork showcases the idea that size does indeed matter! Included in the exhibit are works of classic as well as non-traditional painting and sculpture, photography and digital works, and more than a few unexpected surprises.
