Celebrate 80 Years of District Council 37 and the Grand Reopening of Our Headquarters at 125 Barclay
In 1944, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) chartered District Council 37 to represent public employees in New York City. Today, we represent nearly 150,000 members in both the public and private sectors in over 1,000 different job titles.
This month marks our 80th anniversary and the grand reopening of our home at 125 Barclay Street. Join us in celebrating with a Day of Action on Oct. 23 and a weekend of celebrations, Oct. 25-27.
Space is limited – RSVP is required for all events.
