Local 1503 Elections, February 2025

We will be voting for Shop Stewards and the Run-Off for Chapter Vice President of Buildings.

Voting will be by secret ballot:

Monday, Feb. 24th: 7:00-10:00am and 3:00-6:00pm

Tuesday, Feb. 25th: 7:00-10:00am and 3:00-6:00pm

Thursday, Feb. 27th: 7:00-10:00am and 3:00-6:00pm

Friday, Feb. 28th: 7:00-10:00am (vote count after)

 

 

Location: Outside the locker room at the Main Building and in the breakroom at the Cloisters.

The vote count will be performed on Friday, Feb. 28th, and results will be posted on the Local bulletin boards, the digital monitors, and the Facebook group.

If required, a run-off will take place the week of March 3rd on the same schedule.

 

Campaign posters: Posters should be dropped off at the union office or given to a union official for posting by the election committee on the bulletin boards.

All candidates whose name is to appear on the ballot shall have the right to present an official observer of the candidate’s choosing.

They must be a member of the Federation and be in all places where ballots bearing the candidate’s name are to be cast or counted.

Each candidate may designate their observer. The same observer may be designated by more than one candidate for different nominated positions.

No candidate may act as their own observer or as an observer for any other candidate.
