DC 37 Committee Meetings

Local 3005 Political Action Committee (PAC)

Join the Local 3005 Political Action Committee (PAC) to learn about the New York Health Act (NYHA). NYHA is the only bill currently in the New York state legislature that would guarantee comprehensive, high quality healthcare for every New Yorker — no exceptions. If the NYHA were enacted, our health insurance would be taken off the bargaining table, allowing us to bargain for more competitive salary increases.

Once implemented, the NYHA would ensure that every New Yorker receives primary care, specialty care, vision, dental, hearing, mental health, reproductive care, substance abuse, maternal care, prescription drugs and long term care.

Under the NYHA there would be no more worrying if your doctor or hospital is in your insurance provider’s network. You see the doctors you want, when you want, without cost as a barrier to care.

When : Wednesday, Nov 12, 2025, 6:00pm – 7:00pm
